Every file — on the right record by itself
Every file sorts itself onto its record on upload. Who may see it follows the permission, not chance.

Documents at work
Four capabilities people actually open Documents for. Everything else it can do is listed in full in section 04 — this is only what stands on its own.
Automatic folders per record
When you upload something at the deal, the application or the project, Funnalized creates the target folder itself — nested under the company, for instance Companies/Example Ltd/Deals/Website relaunch/. Whether uploaded by you or sent along as a CV from a funnel: sorting happens automatically, never by hand. The link stays stable even if you rename the company later.

Access by role — closed when in doubt
You see a file only if you are allowed to see the linked deal, contact or application too. Visibility is inherited from the record, with no separate folder permissions at all — and if the rule cannot be resolved for once, the file stays shut rather than open.

Uploaded safely, kept safely
Only permitted file types up to 30 MB, SVG graphics deliberately never. With images, PDFs and Office files it is the content that counts, not the file name — if the two do not match, the file is rejected. Hosted in Germany, downloads only through links that are short-lived and tamper-proof.

One file, several records
the same file on two records, each one permission-checked
Assign the same file to a second record — no copy, no duplicate. The one creative belongs to the company and the campaign at once, in the right place in each, and access stays permission-checked everywhere.
Paths that run through here
A file does not live in a folder, it lives on a record — and may hang off several without existing twice. That is why the store sorts itself.
From a quote to an order
What Documents receives and passes on
Documents keeps the file and decides who may see it. The document that comes back signed is created in Sales & CRM.
Everything that is in it
18 capabilities in 3 groups — complete, not curated.
What it does not do
Every limit names the place where it happens instead.
- No collaborative editing in the browser.
Files are stored, versioned and shared — writing happens in whatever program produced the file.
- No folder on your machine.
There is no sync client mirroring the store onto your disk. Uploading and downloading happen in the browser.
- Deleting means deleting.
A GDPR erasure removes the file from object storage too, not just from the list. That is deliberate — and was once a finding.
What teams want to know beforehand
Where are the files stored?
In object storage in Germany, encrypted, with time-limited links instead of public addresses. A link somebody forwards expires.
Do I have to create folders to keep it tidy?
No. Every record gets its folder automatically, and a file can hang off several records without being copied. You can still keep a tree of your own.
How large may a file be?
Large enough for the presentations, plans and videos of everyday work. The limit is in the settings; it protects storage, not you.
Can I see who opened a file?
Access is in the audit trail, and that cannot be altered afterwards. For portal files you also see when the client was last in.
Documents is one of 21. You get all of them.
